Mr. Jamil
Chairman

Mr. Jamil played an instrumental role in the establishment of Nimir group in Pakistan. As a former director of operations for a global shipping company and for the Ravi Chemicals Group, he brought with him a wealth of over forty year experience in commercial and management. He has thorough and in-depth knowledge of chemical market in Pakistan and region.

 

Mr. Zafar Mahmood
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Mahmood is highly experienced professional engaged with the company since the start of its operations. His track record suggests him as a result oriented professional with strong management, business and financial skills. Today, he stands with twenty years of quality experience throughout in multinational companies operating in Pakistan. He is a fellow of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan since 1991.

In 2007, when he took over as CEO, the company was in considerably high losses. Under his leadership, today the company has been turned into a viable profit venture. All of this was achieved by his thorough creation of a motivated team and injecting teamwork in the company.

 

Mr. Khalid Mumtaz Qazi
Director Finance / CFO

Mr. Qazi is engaged with the company since its inception. He holds master degree in Business Administration. During his over fifteen years stay, he worked in various areas of finance, supply chain and administration of the company. He played pivotal role in the financial restructuring and turnaround of the company. He is also responsible for supply chain of the company. He is well connected person and has strong relationships with international and local banks.

 

Mr. Imran Afzal
Director Sales & Marketing

Mr. Afzal, a business graduate and a lateral thinker, joined the company in 2006. He has over twenty years of experience in the field of sales and marketing and has a considerable exposure of working with leading brands. As director Sales & Marketing of the company, he is responsible for developing distribution network and procurement of quality raw material. He has held various senior management positions in ICI Pakistan and Monsanto Pakistan where his major achievements include developing cross provinces distribution networking for corn hybrids and corn market, preparation of strategy papers, launching of an innovative advance booking scheme and etc.

 

Mr. Umar Iqbal
Director Technical

Mr. Iqbal is also engaged with the company since its inception. He is a qualified chemical engineer and also holds master in business administration. He has vast techno commercial experience and during his stay with the group worked in different areas of operations including Chief Operation Officer of Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited. As Technical Director he is responsible for overall plant operations, quality control, research and development of the company. He also worked as Global HSE Advisor for the Nimir group.

 

Mr. Aamir Jamil
Director Accounts & I.T

Mr. Aamir Jamil holds professional degree in Accountancy. He has diversified experience of working in various disciplines of accountancy during last over sixteen years with the group. Mr. Jamil played an active role in his different assignments such as accounts, corporate planning, budgeting and information technology. Before joining Nimir, he worked for Siemens Pakistan.

 

Mr.Amar Hameed
Director

Mr. Hameed has served as a chief executive of various companies of Nimir group. Before joining the chemical industry in 1989, he spent over ten years in banking, first with Fidelity Bank in London and then with National Commercial Bank in Saudi Arabia. After receiving a B.Sc. from the London school of economics he spent his early career with a Touché Ross and Whitbread London Ltd.

 

Mr.Saeed uz Zaman
Director

Mr. Zaman worked in different Nimir group companies as CEO for around ten years. Before joining Nimir, he was serving SNGPL as Senior General Manager. He is well versed with chemical market and holds engineering degree.
